Our contemporary function rooms can be used for a variety of events, whilst our Banqueting Menus have been designed with elegance in mind. We also offer a range of Buffet Menus for less formal occasions, all of which can be tailor made to your own requirements.
The Grand Room

Once where the Duke of Wellington and Sir Walter Scott were lavishly entertained, it is now an elegant banqueting suite with Georgian windows overlooking the waterfront, perfect for private dining, birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations . The suite adjoins the Alexandra and Wearmouth Suites with their own private bars, ideal for pre-dinner drinks.
The Main Bar

The Vaulted Basement

The Vaulted Basement provides a unique setting for your celebration. Containing the original stonework from the archives of Sunderland town hall, this intimate suite splits into three separate vaulted alcoves ideal for private dining. The suite boasts access onto our private heated terrace which overlooks the waterfront.
